March Challenge: Embracing Nature's Beauty

Outside our windows lies a world of breathtaking beauty. Each morning, as the sun rises, it bathes the Earth in light, revealing its countless treasures.

It only takes a few seconds to pause and appreciate something beautiful. Whether it's the clouds resembling fluffy cotton candy or a bird perched on a tree branch, these moments of positivity, when practiced regularly, can profoundly impact our mood and our connection to the world around us.

Sharing these moments with those around us—our children, partners, friends, or coworkers—can uplift their spirits as well.

As we embark on a new month, The Balanced Child Method invites you to join the challenge: discover one beautiful thing every day and, if you can, share that joy with your loved ones. When we engage in these practices with our children, we not only help them appreciate the world's wonders but also foster behaviors that can last a lifetime.

Life can be busy, and we understand that sometimes, a day might slip by without a chance to pause and find that moment of beauty. If you miss a day, don't worry! Instead, challenge yourself to discover two beautiful things on the following day. This not only catches you up but also doubles the joy of discovering the wonders around you.

So, whether it's the vibrant colors of a sunset or the laughter of children playing outside, or... let's face it, the surprise snow in March that we Midwesterners know all too well, let's find the radiance in it all!

Record Your Findings!

To assist you on this journey, we've created a worksheet. Record your daily discoveries and encourage your family to do the same.

Together, see how many different wonders you can spot. And remember, if all 31 entries simply read "clouds," that's perfectly fine. Celebrate the fact that you took a moment each day to appreciate the beauty above.

Share your findings with us on social media!
