  • Yoga for Dancers

    Yoga is a great way to improve a dancer’s flexibility, strength, and balance. Not only does it have physical benefits, but it also helps dancers focus their minds and de-stress. All dancers benefit from the strength and flexibility gained via a regular yoga practice.

    Yoga helps dancers:

    Improve alignment and body awareness

    Practice non-judgement of the body — loving the body "as is"

    Bond with fellow dancers via partner poses

    Calm their minds and reduces performance anxiety through breath work and meditation

  • Athletic Team Yoga

    Bring us into your team’s practice for a gentle flow designed to increase flexibility, mobility and performance. It’s a wonderful way for the team and coaching staff to bond and de-stress together. Athletes learn the tools to calm anxiety and quiet the mind.

    Yoga helps athletes:

    Prevent injury by improving flexibility, correcting muscle imbalances, and strengthening movement patterns

    Recover from injury by fighting inflammation and increasing circulation

    Calm their minds and reduces performance anxiety through breath work and meditation

  • Empowered Coach

    The Empowered Coach training program equips coaches and dance instructors with yoga techniques and tools to use with their athletes.

    This two-part program includes:

    1) Engaging techniques to use with their athletes to create a calm, stress-free, safe space that makes yoga a part of the classes daily routine.

    2) Coach/instructor self-care. Give yourself and coaching staff the opportunity to work on your own self-care. We provide constructive stress coping skills that can serve as an example to be observed and mimicked by your athletes or dancers.
