Family Yoga Programming

  • This is the perfect class to introduce babies, toddlers and young kiddos to yoga. Explore engaging poses and learn about breath and movement while teachers incorporate books and music to keep kids engaged. The children will build a foundation of yoga tools to use as they get older. This program is for both the adult and child, but participants only need to register their child.

  • This class helps children start the process of unwinding before bedtime. They will be provided with poses, breathing techniques, and bedtime stories to help decompress for the evening. Kiddos can even come dressed in their PJs!

  • Grab the whole family and start your Saturday with yoga! This class is tailored to 3- to 8-year olds, but everyone is welcome. Families learn yoga, breathing and meditation to do at home. Bring yoga mats, water and wear comfy clothes.

Youth & Early Childhood Programming

  • Yoga helps athletes of all ages reduce injury and increase flexibility, mobility and performance. We focus on poses that help flexibility and balance to maximize the child’s athletic potential. Furthermore, we emphasize the mind-body connection. The athlete learns the tools to calm anxiety and quiet the mind.

  • This themed yoga class is the perfect way to learn how to incorporate yoga, breath and mindfulness into your everyday life. Children not only learn yoga poses and stretching but ways to cope with anxiety, stress and other life challenges. This 45 minute class leaves your kid refreshed, refocused and re-energized.

  • This themed yoga class is the perfect way to learn how to incorporate yoga, breath and mindfulness into everyday life. Children not only learn yoga poses and stretching, but ways to cope with anxiety, stress and other life challenges. This 30-minute class leaves the child feeling refreshed, refocused and re-energized.

  • Drop off your child for 45 minutes of book-themed yoga while you get your workout on! This yoga class is the perfect way for littles to learn how to incorporate yoga, breath and mindfulness into everyday life. You'll leave feeling energized from a workout and your child will feel relaxed and centered. Note: Adults must stay on-site during the class and the child must be potty trained. Age: 3+

Camp Programming

  • The Balanced Child Method offers the opportunity to collaborate with your community’s existing summer camp programming to incorporate yoga, movement, mindfulness and social emotional learning.

    Traditionally, these programs are 8 weeks in length. Ages range anywhere from preschool to HS. Themes, in the past, have included: animals, zoo, superheroes, feelings/emotions, and summer activities.

  • The Balanced Child Method also offers the opportunity to collaborate with your community’s existing Fall, Winter, Spring Break camps and other programming to incorporate yoga, movement, mindfulness, and social emotional learning. These can be stand-alone classes or incorporated into existing programming.
